Golf Cart Parking program for village guests
Parking for 6 passenger golf carts is not assured, confirm availability prior to renting
The Village at Blue Mountain Beach has restricted parking for golf carts. They are not allowed to park randomly in the Village parking lot at any time. However, recognizing that golf carts are a convenient way to move around on a 30a beach vacation, the Village has established guest golf cart parking.
General: Renters staying in one of our “Cottages” (aka free standing houses) have sufficient spaces to park a golf cart in the driveway. That is not the case with Condominium renters. Because parking lots behind condos all reserve 2 spaces per unit, golf cart renters must either park in the Overflow Parking area or rent a space in our golf cart parking area behind the pool.
Parking Space Rental Program: The Village rents golf cart space for 7-day periods. Start days must be either Saturday or Sunday. The rental space will be available from 1:00 PM on Saturday/Sunday until 11:00 AM the following Sat/Sun. The rental periods can only be Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. The Village does not have the resources to allow a variable length rental period. For a rental period longer than 7 days, two rental periods would be required. Thus, if a guest wants a Saturday to Sunday or later guest space, they would have to rent for two rental periods.
Fees: The fee per rental period is $50
Cart Tags: Guests must call the Association Representative at 850-208-4111 or email andreeamock@gmail.com by 1:00 PM the Wednesday before the rental period to reserve a space and obtain a slot number. Early reservations are encouraged, but cannot be made more than 60 days prior to arrival date. Carts should be delivered to the appropriate slot by the rental company on the rental start day. The Village does not have space to store golf carts for an earlier delivery. Carts must have tags displayed by 3:00 PM Monday or they are subject to being towed.
Limited Number of Cart Spaces: The Village has a limited number of golf cart spaces, and we cannot guarantee a guest a cart space. Guests are encouraged to make reservations for a space as early as possible. If a cart space is not available; guests will not be able to operate or park a golf cart in the Village during their stay.
Cart Regulations: Golf carts are motorized vehicles in Florida. Only licensed drivers are allowed to operate them in the Village or on streeets. Do not drive over lawns or on sidewalks, observe our 16mph speed limit and do not use Village Blvd as a playground for joy rides. RESPECT THE COMMUNITY.
