Golf Cart Parking program for village guests

GUEST PARKING IS FOR 4 PASSENGER GOLF CARTS ONLY. THERE IS NO TEMPORARY PARKING

FOR 6 PASSENGER CARTS. DUE TO OUR LIMITIED NUMBER OF SPACES, PARKING IS NOT

ASSURED. CONFIRM AVAILABILITY PRIOR TO RENTING.

The Village at Blue Mountain Beach has restricted parking for golf carts. Golf carts are not

allowed to park in the Village parking lot at any time.   However, recognizing that golf carts are

a fun and convenient way to move around on a 30a beach vacation, the Village has guest golf

cart parking.

The parking lots behind the condominiums are reserved for automobiles only. However,

temporary parking (7 AM to 8 PM) is available near the parking lots, with spaces located at the

end of buildings 4 and 6, and behind the bike racks by building 7. These spaces are also used by

rental companies when dropping off golf carts. Drop offs must be coordinated with the Village

Custodian Sara.

General: Renters staying in one of our “Cottages” (aka free-standing houses) have sufficient

spaces to park golf carts in the driveway.  Condominium guests who rent golf carts MUST rent a

space in the temporary golf cart parking area behind the pool. Golf cart parking in the

condominium parking area is NOT allowed, and violators will be towed by PBA Towing 850-

555-5442. 

Parking Space Rental Program:  The Village rents golf cart spaces for 7-day periods.  Start days

must be either Saturday or Sunday.  The rental space will be available from 1:00 PM on

Saturday/Sunday until 11:00 AM the following Sat/Sun.  The rental periods can only be Saturday

to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. For a rental period longer than 7 days, two rental periods are 

required.  Ex: If a guest requests a Saturday to Sunday or later, they are required to rent for

two rental periods.

Fees:  The fee per rental period is $50.

Golf Cart Tags:   Guests must call the Village Custodian, Sara Alldredge, at (850) 353-1498  by

1:00 PM the Wednesday before the rental period to reserve a space and obtain a slot number. 

Early reservations are encouraged but cannot be made more than 60 days prior to arrival date. 

Rental carts should be delivered to the appropriate space or temporary space on the rental

start day.  The Village does not have space to store golf carts for an earlier delivery.  Carts must

have tags displayed by 3:00 PM Monday or they are subject to being towed.   Golf cart

providers, renters, and owners are responsible for contacting Sara at (850) 353-1498 for

information on parking spaces and obtaining tags.  Golf carts cannot be dropped off in the

condominium parking lots.  They will be towed.

Limited Number of Cart Spaces: The Village has a limited number of golf cart spaces, which are

available on a first come basis. The Village does NOT guarantee a temporary space.  Guests are

encouraged to make reservations as early as possible.  If a golf cart space is not available;

guests will not be permitted to park a golf cart in the Village during their stay.

Cart Regulations: Golf carts are motorized vehicles in Florida. Only licensed drivers are allowed

to operate golf carts in the Village or on streets.   Do not drive over lawns or on sidewalks,

observe our 16mph speed limit and do not use Village Blvd as a playground for joy rides.
